BE OUTDOORS ARIZONA!
Be Outdoors Arizona was created to to provide an easy path for new outdoor enthusiasts to find, explore and create new life-long hobbies that support our outdoors.
We partner with over 200 organizations that offer experiential outdoor learning opportunities, connecting recreation with conservation in a supportive community to foster a love of the outdoors!
Be Outdoors Arizona was inspired by the landmark publication of Richard Louv’sLast Child in the Woods and subsequent research findings presented on his website www.childrenandnature.org that conclusively demonstrate the relationship between nature experiences and children’s health and well-being. As Louv points out, “A growing body of research links our mental, physical, and spiritual healthdirectly to our association with nature.”
We are all about supporting our outdoor community!
