Some of the areas in Arizona have fees that need to be paid to recreate! Make sure you have these taken care of before you go exploring!

State Parks

Day use fees range from $2.00 to $30

Camping fees range from $15 to $50>00 per night

They also have discounted rates for Veterans.

Bureau of Land Management BLM

Developed day use areas, visitor centers and some National Conservation Areas charge standard  amenity fees, while developed campgrounds charge expanded amenity fees. The method of payment depends on the particular site, but commonly includes; fee envelope at the site, through a visitor contact station or visitor center, through an online reservation system, or by other electronic means.

Petrified Forest

Standard entrance passes are $15.00 to 25.00

Coronado National Forest

Passes can be purchased at all Ranger District Offices, the Forest Supervisor’s Office, at signed recreation sites, and from partnered vendors.

The following fees apply to all Forest fee areas:

  • $8 per vehicle per day
  • $10 per vehicle per week
  • $40 per vehicle per year (valid for one year from date of purchase)

Tonto National Forest

Daily Passes $8.00

Tonto Daily Passes are available at Tonto National Forest offices and retail vendors across the Valley (please call retailers for availability). Tonto Daily Passes are hangtags, designed to be self-validating. Visitors scratch off the date and time of their visit upon reaching their forest destination. This design allows Tonto Daily Passes to be conveniently obtained in advance of forest visits. Passes expire 24 hours from time of validation.

Coconino National Forest

There are three main recreation passes on the Coconino National Forest:

  • America the Beautiful Interagency Pass
  • Red Rock Pass
  • Every Kid Outdoors Fourth Grader Pass

There is are no fee for most areas or activities in the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest.

Kaibab National Forest

The vast majority of areas and activities in the Kaibab National Forest are free to enjoy by members of the public. However, there are some fees for recreational sites and activities such as campgrounds, cabin rentals and recreational vehicle amenities.
