Be Outdoors Arizona was created to to provide an easy path for new outdoor enthusiasts to find, explore and create new life-long hobbies that support our outdoors.

We partner with over 200 organizations that offer experiential outdoor learning opportunities, connecting recreation with conservation in a supportive community to foster a love of the outdoors!

Be Outdoors Arizona was inspired by the landmark publication of Richard Louv’sLast Child in the Woods and subsequent research findings presented on his website www.childrenandnature.org that conclusively demonstrate the relationship between nature experiences and children’s health and well-being. As Louv points out, “A growing body of research links our mental, physical, and spiritual healthdirectly to our association with nature.”

Support wildlife with your license plate!

Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation is pleased to present this beautiful specialty license plate. By purchasing this plate you will be making a contribution to Arizona’s wildlife and wildlife habitat.  Seventeen dollars ($17) of each twenty-five ($25) special license fee will go to AZSFWC’s L. Gary Stinson Grant Fund. The AZSFWC will review and approve all grants from the special license plate program revenues.

These grants will fund important on-the-ground wildlife habitat restoration and enhancement projects as well outdoor recreational and educational opportunities that promote conservation.

From 2012 through 2022, AZSFWC awarded $1,322,888 in grants through our conserving wildlife license plate fund.
