This two day weekend event will include an overnight camp, two days of hiking uphill in the late spring and tons of fun! Join us for all or part of the weekend to brush Passage 16, fix some drains and enjoy spring in the desert. .

The goal of the Invasive Plant Management project is to reduce the fire risk in Tonto National Forest. This is done by mapping and removing plants that are not native to the Tonto National Forest, and monitoring the removal areas to reduce recurrence of these plants. This event will focus on tread work, drainage, and general tidying up of the corridor. We will be working at elevation, about 8000ft, which will provide much-needed respite from the summer heat. Work will conclude mid afternoon; leaving you time to recreate and enjoy the fruits of our labor.
