Expert trappers across the state meet together to mentor, demo and discuss the management of predatory wildlife. Games, food and goods will be available. About the Location Just west (est. 3 miles) of Highway 260 (Rim Road) and Highway 87 intersection, on Forest Service Rd 149 / 144. North of Pine.
Camp is 3 Days. Registered Attendees should arrive Thursday evening or Friday Morning. All Meals and Beverages will be provided during the Camp. Dove hunt for youth ages 10-16, regardless of experience. Mentors will be available for those who need guidance. Limited to 50 participants. Lunch will be provided.
Experienced hunters teach kids, new to hunting, everything needed to hunt dove: firearms, safety, biology, hunting, cleaning, cooking and a live hunt the next morning.
Learn to hunt doves from experienced mentors at an AZGFD wildlife area. Bird identification, hunting tips, field dressing, guidance, safety briefing, gun safety and food provided. Registration required.
