Whether you’re new to orienteering or want to brush up your skills, join the beginner’s course at the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area alongside members of the Greater Phoenix Orienteering Club. Learn to read maps and compasses and use GPS navigation techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their own compasses, but compasses are available upon request.
