About the Project WILD curriculum

This research-based supplemental curriculum provides over 75 activities that engage, entertain, and empower students learning about the interactions within Biomes – of animals, plants, weather, and water. The training provides guided and interactive exposure to the material’s pedagogy supports for teachers with reviews of concept backgrounds, step-by-step implementations, extension, and assessment ideas. The activities are aligned to national standards. Additional resources from NASA, NOAA, and Citizen Science projects for the classroom will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes since we will be learning through play. Project WILD can be used in a wide variety of K-12 classrooms to engage student thinking, reading, writing, math, and history – it’s not just for the Science classroom!
