  • Help Kids Learn About Bugs

    Frances Short Pond 755 N Bonito St., Flagstaff

    Children and families will learn about insects and view them up close at different stations. We will head down to the pond and try to catch insects, and plant seeds for a butterfly plant and do more family-friendly activities.

  • Look for Prairie Dogs in the Four Corners

    Campbell Mesa Trailhead Forest Service Rd 790, Flagstaff

    Look for Gunnison's prairie dogs, a species native to Flagstaff that are seen in the grasslands. Visitors should be cautious of these animals and keep pets on leashes.
