Social Media Engagement

This is an unpaid, remote work position for Arizona residents only. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an intern program from an accredited university or intern organization. Upon satisfactory performance and completion of the 90-day program, participants may qualify for part-time employment. This position requires a strong internet connection for video calls, screen sharing, and other position duties.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

Creating content for social media channels to share the story of Be Outdoors Arizona and its nonprofit partners

Searching and sharing revelvant content that supports the mission of Be Outdoors Arizona and its partners

Monitoring and replying to comments, messages and questions

Tracking and analyzing the social media activity and engagement

Executing giveaways via social media accounts

Sharing events from website onto Facebook and Instagram

Assist with research for new business opportunities

Prerequisites & Skills:

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Strong oral and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work as a team with others

Analytical skills and strong attention to detail

Capacity to think creatively and contribute new ideas

Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities

Ability to think and react quickly and appropriately to unpredictable situations

Understanding of social media platforms and appropriate use in a business setting

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills

Photography, videography and/or graphic design experience a plus

Knowledge of and passion for the outdoors, wildlife conservation and land access

4 Positions Available

Monthly Commitment: 5-15 hours

Attendance at weekly team meeting at least three times a month
