Research and Content Creation

This is an unpaid, remote work position for Arizona residents only. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an intern program from an accredited university or intern organization. Upon satisfactory performance and completion of the 90-day program, participants may qualify for part-time employment. This position requires a strong internet connection for video calls, screen sharing, and other position duties.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

Conduct informal focus groups and gather feedback for market research.

Create Be Outdoors Arizona story ideas to print, broadcast and digital media.

Research and create feature story ideas for promoting partner non-profits.

Research and create content about mental and physical benefits of time outdoors

Research and create content about Arizona history and access regarding wildlife, habitat, waterways.

Plan and market presentations for media outlets.

Assist with Be Outdoors Arizona’s  advocacy efforts.

Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams.

Knowledge of and passion for the outdoors, wildlife conservation and land access a plus

2 Positions Available

Monthly Commitment: 10-20 hours

Attendance at weekly team meeting at least two times a month
