This mentored hunting camp is for youth javelina hunter tag holders and their families wanting to learn about javelina hunting, including glassing, habitat, tracking, field care, rules and regs, and more. Breakfast and dinners are provided.

Mentors to help in locating, tracking, and field dressing. Hunters must have hunter ed, deer tag, sleeping/camping gear, hunting gear, and firearm. Two (Feb. 1 & 9, 2025) mentored pheasant and chukar hunts with guides and gun dogs in Central AZ alfalfa fields. Limited to 9 participants each hunt. $30 fee. Separate registrations for each date. Shotgun shooting skills required. This is not an event for beginning shotgun shooters.
