Every morning, a volunteer naturalist leads a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park. Look for Gunnison's prairie dogs, a species native to Flagstaff that are seen in the grasslands. Visitors should be cautious of these animals and keep pets on leashes.
