Join Ranger Kevin on a moderate hike to look for late-season wildflowers and butterflies. Click program title for more details.

Join Ranger Kevin for a 3.5-mile hike along parts of the Overton and Go John Trails as we set off in search of late-season wildflowers, blooming trees, shrubs and cacti as well as the butterflies that pollinate them. You will learn about the MCPRD butterfly monitoring initiative and receive an identification handout to help with your own observations. Please bring water and wear closed-toe shoes. Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended. NO pets, please. Meeting Location: Nature Center.
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Cave Creek Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on Wednesday, April 5.
