June Warm-Up Shoot:

  • Corner Archery is holding a one-day shoot in preparation for the Gator Cup and So-Cal Showdown. This event will consist of two (2) 36 arrow scoring rounds for a total of 72 arrows and total possible score of 720.

  • Register for either May shoot or June shoot. You must register separately for each date chosen. You can shoot one or both days.

  • In the past we have generally completed the shoot by about 1130am.

  • This is a one day event and registration is only available online following the “Register Now” link at the top of this page.

    • At the end of the registration form a pop-up will show you completed the form and it will provide a link to Paypal for payment.

  • Yes…. its probably going to be warm…. Bring water, gatorade, sunscreen, etc…

  • Cost is $25 per archer each day, which will cover expenses related to running this event. This fee includes your entry fee into Ben Avery.

Compound Bow, Recurve Bow, & Barebow

DIVISIONS:

Masters – 50 years plus

Senior – 21-49 years
“Junior” through the calendar year of their 20th birthday

“Cadet” through the calendar year of their 17th birthday

“Cub” through the calendar year of their 14th birthday

“Bowman” through the calendar year of their 12th birthday

“Yeoman” through the calendar year of their 9th birthday (Minimum age of 6)

  • Must be able to SAFELY use a bow

  • Shooting is at discretion of tournament director

The Rules and Format – READ CAREFULLY

  • Compound & Recurve

    • Compound archers will shoot on a 80cm target face at their respective distance based on division.

    • Recurve archers will shoot on a 122cm target face at at their respective distance based on division

    • Barebow archers will shoot on a 122cm target face at their respective distance based on division

    • Archers will shoot 6 arrows per end with a total of 6 ends for a total possible score of 360 points per session.

    • Archers will shoot 2 scoring sessions.

    • Please be in compliance with USA Archery rules and regulations on ARROWS and DRAW WEIGHT.

 Arrow Requirements (World Archery, Book 3):

  • 11.1.7. Arrows of any type may be used provided they comply with the common meaning of the word “arrow” as used in target archery, and do not cause undue damage to target faces or butts.

  • All arrows of every athlete shall be marked with the athlete’s name or initials on the shaft. All arrows used in any end shall be identical and shall carry the same pattern and color(s) of fletching, nocks and cresting, if any.

  • Tracer nocks (electrically/electronically lighted arrow nocks) are not allowed.
