Let’s gather for the desert with friends and family for fun activities, Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection volunteer recognition and awards, raffle prizes, games, new t-shirts, tamales, campfire music, and more. Bring your own instruments and join our evening jam session! For those wanting to spend the night, or join us the next day, there will also be a morning hike on Sunday. We will be in the Gila Monster Group Site at Catalina State Park.

The schedule for the Volunteer Appreciation Event and Camp Out is as follows:

Saturday September 28
3pm – Family-fun activities and camp set up
5pm – Dinner (tamales & refreshments provided, option to bring a potluck side and own drinks)
5:30pm – Awards and dessert
6pm – Closing
Evening activities – Acoustic music, camp out (water, bathrooms, showers available, no electricity)

Sunday September 29
7am – Coffee and breakfast
8am – Hike
Break camp by noon
