Step away from the everyday noise and into a landscape where the air feels fresher,the colors brighter, and every sound has a story to tell. This guided nature walkmeanders through shaded cottonwood-willow groves, with stops along the San PedroRiver and Green Kingfisher Pond. Along the way, you may catch glimpses of flutteringbutterflies, discover subtle signs of wildlife, and enjoy the steady chorus of birdsongoverhead. Each step reveals something new—from wildflowers swaying in the breezeto glimpses of animals or insects tucked into the undergrowth. Walks cover 1.5to 2 miles on easy terrain and are suitable for most adults and children. Thewalk is free; reservations are not required. Participants must sign a liabilitywaiver before the walk starts. The San Pedro House is located 7 miles east ofSierra Vista on Highway 90, on the south side of the highway.
