Join Ranger Kevin for a 1.8-mile hike on the Overton, Clay Mine and Go John Trails. Trail segments are rated easy, with just a few sections of loose rock and/or elevation change. We’ll enjoy the beauty of a quiet outdoor evening, walking through a desert landscape silvered by the moon and stars (weather permitting, of course). We won’t be setting any speed records here; this hike is all about taking our time and appreciating the natural world. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water, along with flashlights and/or UV lights. Bathrooms are located at the Nature Center near the parking lot. NO pets, please.

MEETING LOCATION: Area near the front entrance to the Nature Center.

Note: Hike will only be cancelled in the event of active storms or poor trail conditions; we will not cancel for cloudy conditions.

Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.   Registration for this program will close on 5/3/23.
