Join Sonoran Audubon Society for a birding field trip to Mingus Mountain, near Prescott. Group starts about 5am from Scottsdale, possibly with quick stops on the way, then explores several stops through the pine forest looking for nuthatches, forest-dwelling woodpeckers and flycatchers, plus summer warblers, tanagers and vireos. Wraps up with a picnic lunch and returns to the Phoenix area around 3pm. Easy difficulty (1), limited to 7 participants. Logistics to be decided a few days before the trip.
