Come on out to the Mazatzals! This event will focus on BRUSHING and DEADFALL. Thank you in advance for your willingness to help out! If you are unable to attend all 4 days, we welcome any time you can provide. Please consider joining us Saturday or Sunday, as your schedule allows. Large tools will NOT need to be trekked up the mountain! We will only ask you to carry your own PPE.

This is a backpacking/backcountry event. Our worksite is in the Mazatzal Wilderness. There is no vehicular access. The event is scheduled for 4 days/3 nights (including hiking time to/from base camp). Participants will supply/carry their own food/water and will be responsible for adherence to LNT principles. There will be a reliable water source at camp.

Trailhead access requires a high clearance vehicle. Carpools can be arranged as needed. The North Peak Trail #24 begins at the Mineral Creek TH along forest road NF-414 (expect water crossings).

Thanks in advance! As the time draws nearer, we’ll be reaching out with more specific information about project prioritization, anticipated conditions, and any other essential info. Until then, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email Alex at alex1derr@gmail.com
