Join Ranger Eric for a guided hike to learn about the resident and migratory birds of the Sonoran Desert. Along the way, we will talk about how to identify birds by sight and sound, as well as talk about their biogeography and ecological roles. We will hike 2.1 miles roundtrip on a loop of the Blevins, Crismon Wash, Meridian, and Noso Trails on easy to moderate grade, with frequently sandy, rocky, or uneven ground. Please bring binoculars or camera if you have them, dress in layers, wear protective clothing and/or sunscreen, wear sturdy footwear, and carry ample water, electrolytes, and snacks for yourself. Restrooms are available at the Area 10 trailhead.

MEETING LOCATION: Area 10 Crismon Wash Trailhead access. See map here: https://www.maricopacountyparks.net/assets/1/6/usery-8×14-Jan-2021.pdf
