Participants can learn about and taste wild treats directly from nature. Gagnon has also collected various edible mushrooms, including the “blusher,” which stains pink when touched, and the candy apple bolete, known for its ruby cap and citrusy taste. Her work involves both the identification and safe consumption of wild edible plants and mushrooms.
