The Holland Center and Desert Foothills Land Trust are proud to present the next installment of the Foothills Speaker Series, focusing on “Wolves and Coyotes.”

Join us for an evening of discovery with Jeff Meyers, a Wildlife Biologist from the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Meyers will take us on a journey into the world of these fascinating canines. We’ll start by getting to know the coyote – that wily, adaptable creature you might have spotted in your backyard. These smart opportunists have some incredible survival tricks up their sleeves!

But that’s not all – we’ll also dive into the gripping tale of Arizona’s wolves. Once a common sight, these magnificent animals disappeared from our landscape. Now, thanks to the hard work of AZGFD and other agencies, the Mexican Wolf is making a comeback. Meyers will share the inside scoop on this exciting conservation story.
