Come join Ranger Kevin as we hike approximately 2 miles on the Beardsley Trail, starting in a riparian area before rising into a more typical Sonoran Desert landscape. Trail is rated easy, with few sections of loose, rocky terrain, and little elevation change. We’ll be stopping to look at various plants and animals, including birds, reptiles, insects and small mammals. Be sure to wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are strongly recommended. Restrooms and water are not available at the trailhead; visitors must go to the main entrance of the park to find facilities. Admission to the park is $7 (or included with an annual pass), and must be paid in exact CASH at the trailhead (no change available). You may also go to the Main Entrance and purchase admission before coming to the trailhead. NO pets, please.
