The City Of Yuma is located at the confluence of 2 rivers in the southwestern portion of Arizona. The water here is one of if not the most important thing when it comes to survival here. With water comes aquatic life that sustains an entire ecosystem of creatures and plant life that are integral to the environment. One of the ways to help save the environment here is to get the next generation of the outdoor enthusiasts involved in doing outdoor activities. The more people appreciate outdoor activities the more they will make efforts to help save the environment in Southwest Arizona, an area that is in constant danger of failure due to a lack of resources and water.

Participants will learn the basics of rigging a line, baiting, and casting.

**Prerequisite requires participants to purchase a youth fishing license for $5.00 from AZ Game and Fish.
