Urban Birding for Complete Beginners- Fort Lowell Park
Registration for this trip is free. | Register here beginning March 12
Join Kirsten Howe on bi-monthly birding walks designed for those new to birding and Tucson Audubon! These walks will be held in a different urban park each time and will focus on using binoculars, understanding bird behavior, and finding and identifying Tucson’s most iconic avian neighbors! Some of the birds we’re likely to see include Vermilion Flycatcher, Cactus Wren, Cooper’s Hawk, Gila Woodpecker, Verdin, Gambel’s Quail, and others!
This walk is designed for those with little to no birding experience and those who have attended fewer than 5 Tucson Audubon birding field trips. Limited to 12 participants. Full details will be emailed to registered participants prior to the walk.
