El Rio Open Space
Registration for this walk is free. REGISTRATION FULL
Trip difficulty:  Easy.  No gain in elevation.  1.5 miles on dirt and paved trails.  Restroom and water available at trailhead.  Trip duration about 2.5 hours. 
We’ll start with a spotting scope on the viewing platform, then wander the ‘long way’ around the pond. Limited to 12 participants. Driving directins: Twin Peaks exit on I-10.  Head west to Coachline Rd, go right (north) for about 1.5 mile to large parking lot of El Rio Open Space Preserve.
