Trip difficulty: Easy. 1 -1.5 miles on mostly flat surfaces with some uneven surfaces and grass. 
If you’re new to birding, then Marie Davis and Peggy Steffens want to introduce you to the joys of birdwatching with a bird walk for beginners at Reid Park. We will provide an easygoing atmosphere for you to appreciate birds and their behaviors. The field trip will start with tips for effectively using your binoculars and then move on to ideas for finding and identifying birds as we walk Reid Park. You will meet other new birders, develop fundamental birding skills and become familiar with some of the birds in a local park.
