Join us for an engaging family workshop on invasive species, covering plants, animals, bacteria, and more. Through fun hands-on activities and games, discover how these species disrupt ecosystems and harm the environment. Learn practical steps to help prevent their spread and see how our community is working together to address this important issue.
Program Details:
- This program will happen both indoors at the Rio Salado Audubon Center classroom, as well as outdoors in the garden (weather permitting).
- The Center and garden area are all handicapped accessible, flat terrain. The garden trails are crushed refined gravel.
- Registration required, with tickets offered on a sliding scale: $5 suggested donation per person to cover the cost of materials
- Please register for 1 ticket per person
- All children must be accompanied by an adult
