Estrella Park Bird Walk, Second Sat. of Each Month. Discover area birds, ID and habits in the Sonoran Desert. Meet at the Estrella Mountain Regional Park Nature Center. Program/Presentation in Nature Center to follow bird hike.

Explore the Birds of Estrella Mountain Regional Park on a bird walk. The event(s) will take place on the following dates and times:​​

  • Sat. June 10th, 6:30 AM (2023)
  • Sat. July 8th, 6:30 AM (2023)
  • Sat. Aug 12th, 6:30 am (2023)

Meet at the park Nature Center.  Explore the birds/bird life at Estrella Park with special guest Joe Ford.  With the park’s wide range of habitats, you will encounter some of the best birding in the valley!  Beginner birders and long-time enthusiasts will enjoy this opportunity to spot and identify many bird species.  Bring close-toed shoes, water, and a snack.  Rain day of, cancels event.  Program/Presentation in Nature Center to follow bird hike.
