Join us for a fun Cleanup Event as we celebrate Earth Day at Papago Park Preserve in Tempe!
Meet us at Papago Park, 1000 N College Ave, Tempe, AZ 85281 at 9 AM around complimentary breakfast and get out in the Preserve. Fill up your trash bucket and come build community under the ramada!
Why you should join
- Memorable Experience: To ensure an unforgettable event, we’ve secured exclusive access to all Papago Park ramadas. Throughout the day, participants can enjoy a mini expo featuring local vendors, exciting surprises, and giveaways. Complimentary beverages, breakfast and snacks will be provided to all attendees.
- Onsite Raffle: Each participant will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win exciting prizes donated by our sponsors. The raffle will be held onsite at the end of our event. Prizes include outdoor gear, apparel, accessories, and more!
Who are we?
Clean Up Papago (CUP) is a dynamic 501c3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Papago Preserve and its surroundings. Our mission revolves around maintaining a clean environment and caring for Papago trail systems, all while fostering community engagement and environmental stewardship. At C.U.P, we thrive to keep our Preserve clean, maintain and improve existing trail systems in partnership with the City of Tempe and the City of Phoenix.
What to bring:
– Closed toe shoes to walk/hike in
– Water for the duration of event
– Sunscreen
– Hat if needed
– Gloves (if you have your own)
We will provide:
– Trash Grabbers
– Buckets
– Gloves (reusable and disposable)
– Hand Sanitizer
– Refreshments, coffee and breakfast snacks
– There is a restroom and water fountain onsite
We are asking each participant to contribute a donation of their choice. This donation is vital for our organization to carry out its activities in the Papago Park and Preserve.
