Have you ever wondered what is crawling under your feet when you’re out on the trail or what might be calling your backyard home? Head to the critter room in the back of the Nature Center and stop by a discover table featuring living and preserved insect and arachnid species that can be found throughout the park and the Sonoran Desert as a whole. You will have the opportunity to look at guidebooks and have the ability to identify the creatures you have found in the park or around the valley. Coloring pages will also be available for the kids. A ranger will also be available to explain the nature history of that desert and answer your burning questions. No registration required.
