New to the Desert? Want to learn more about the desert environment? Want to go for a splendid hike? If the answer is yes, then this hike is perfect for you! Come join Ranger Evan for roughly two miles, while we explore the bountiful Sonoran Desert. Please no pets. Please meet at the north end of the lake (must enter through the north entrance) about 1 mile from the main entrance. You will take the first right, which will dead end into the trailhead parking area. Limit 20 participants. To register please email Ranger Evan at evan.mclenithan@maricopa.gov. When reserving, please provide your name, phone number and total number of participants.
