FREE but Limit Space – maximum 15. This walk on November 4 circles Black Canyon Heritage Park’s pond and passes by our pollinator gardens. The accessible nature path is approximately 1/2 mile in length with no elevation gain. We recommend that you wear closed-toed shoes and sun protection. Please also bring drinking water. We’ll make frequent stops to observe and identify butterflies that we see. Our leaders, Mel and John Dicus, will identify the butterflies and share their expertise with us.
Best to bring your own close-focusing binoculars if possible. Other binoculars will be ok too. If you do not have any, we’ll have some basic ones you can borrow.
