Join us for our 4th biannual butterfly monitoring workshop and citizen science monitoring events. The participants can sign up for the monitoring events via spreadsheets at the virtual workshop, or since space for the monitoring is limited so if you are interested in a particular location send an email with your contact info and preferred locations to http://juanita.armstrong@maricopa.gov before the workshop and provide park preference. The workshop is required to participate in the Saturday monitoring event.
You do not need to become a monitor to attend the workshop. The virtual workshop link is provided below. Anyone can attend the workshop, up to 60 persons, however, to keep the butterfly monitoring efficient and effective, there will only be 5 total volunteers permitted to participate at each of the five events for a total of 30 bfly monitors.
The workshop is required to participate in the Saturday monitoring event. Space is limited so please sign up today. (if you have participated in the beginners series workshop last year, you will be allowed to participate if you communicate with Juanita and space is available).
