Join Ranger Eric for a moderate hike up 1.8 miles (one-way) of Mesquite Canyon Trail while looking for and learning about late season wildflowers and butterflies of the Sonoran Desert. This spring is shaping up to have a good wildflower show, so there should be lots of color along the way! We will meet at the trailhead at Area 7, which has restrooms available. The hike will be 3.6 miles round trip and will involve rocky and uneven surfaces, and an occasionally steep grade. Please bring ample water and snacks and wear sturdy footwear and sun protection.
