Join Ranger Kevin for a trail walk along the Hassayampa River that includes an introduction to birding. We’ll cover birding basics, from tools and equipment to bird identification tips and strategies. Trails are rated easy, although some thick sand is possible in some stretches. Don’t worry if you don’t have binoculars; the Ranger will have some to borrow. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended. Restrooms are available near the parking area. NO pets, please.
