Join Ranger Eric for a guided hike to learn about the animals, plants, and ecology of the Sonoran Desert. Early wildflowers may be out, depending on how much precipitation we get this winter. We will hike a 6.7-mile loop of the Quail, Rainbow Valley, Dysart, and Toothaker trails. The trails are moderate difficulty with occasional inclines, and rocky and uneven terrain. The hike should take around 4-4.5 hours, depending on how many times we stop. Please wear sturdy footwear and sun protection, carry ample water (at least 3 liters recommended), electrolytes, and snacks. We will meet at the Nature Center, which has restrooms.
