Please join the ATA on December 14-15 on Passage 20 in the Four Peaks Region near Roosevelt Lake for a trail work event. Astonishing views of Roosevelt Lake and Apache Lake are included in the 360o view from this section of the trail. This 2-day project will focus on brushing [removing vegetation from trail corridor – this vegetation can be thorny or woody, so clearing it is important to keeping the trail open to users] and treadwork [repairing or improving the trail surface].

This project is rated easy – accessible to first time volunteers, volunteers with families or individuals with limited physical capacity. This is a front country event – we will be camping near Forest Road 429, where it meets the Arizona Trail. Participants will need to bring their own camping gear, appropriate clothing and gear. The Arizona Trail Association will provide lunch and dinner Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday and snacks.
