Come join us at Benders Pond for our Family Fishing Clinic. registration at 7am and closing at 7:45. Fishing derby will begin at 8am and run till 11pm. We will then count fish and add the totals to the winners.

– Ages:1-4
3-Prizes: Highest total weight, most fish caught, largest fish caught (1 fish that weights the most)

-Ages: 5-9
3-Prizes: Highest total weight, most fish caught, largest fish caught (1 fish that weights the most)

– Ages: 10-14
3-Prizes: Highest total weight, most fish caught, largest fish caught (1 fish that weights the most)

– Ages 15-17
3-Prizes: Highest total weight, most fish caught, largest fish caught (1 fish that weights the most)

Rules:
No alcohol/controlled substances
Only shore fishing is allowed
Any fish may be caught Catfish, Trout, Bass, Bluegill etc.
May bring alternate bait
Parents can help bait and assist to reel in with ages 1-4 and 5-9.
Participants are encouraged to cast themselves out on their own. However, 1-4 will need help.
CANNOT USE TREBLE HOOKS: SINGLE HOOKS ONLY
Rotate stations when announced/ must reel in even if just cast out
When fish is reeled in a scorer will weigh the fish and call the weight to the recorder
In case of a tie, “fish off” first fish caught wins

A valid Arizona Fishing License is required at all events. Anyone 10-17 years old can purchase a youth combo license for only $5.
