Make sure you have these taken care of before you go exploring!
State Parks
Day use fees range from $2.00 to $30
Camping fees range from $15 to $50>00 per night
They also have discounted rates for Veterans.

Bureau of Land Management BLM
Developed day use areas, visitor centers and some National Conservation Areas charge standard amenity fees, while developed campgrounds charge expanded amenity fees. The method of payment depends on the particular site, but commonly includes; fee envelope at the site, through a visitor contact station or visitor center, through an online reservation system, or by other electronic means.

Coronado National Forest
Passes can be purchased at all Ranger District Offices, the Forest Supervisor’s Office, at signed recreation sites, and from partnered vendors.
The following fees apply to all Forest fee areas:
- $8 per vehicle per day
- $10 per vehicle per week
- $40 per vehicle per year (valid for one year from date of purchase)

Tonto National Forest
Daily Passes $8.00
Tonto Daily Passes are available at Tonto National Forest offices and retail vendors across the Valley (please call retailers for availability). Tonto Daily Passes are hangtags, designed to be self-validating. Visitors scratch off the date and time of their visit upon reaching their forest destination. This design allows Tonto Daily Passes to be conveniently obtained in advance of forest visits. Passes expire 24 hours from time of validation.

Coconino National Forest
There are three main recreation passes on the Coconino National Forest:

There is are no fee for most areas or activities in the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest.

Kaibab National Forest
The vast majority of areas and activities in the Kaibab National Forest are free to enjoy by members of the public. However, there are some fees for recreational sites and activities such as campgrounds, cabin rentals and recreational vehicle amenities.

State Land – Do and Don’t
THE BASICS
Recreation permit required if you stop on trust land for any reason*
You must have a recreational permit -good for day use for one year.(appx $15)
-Camping is limited to 14 cumulative days per calendar year
You must have a OHV decal to operate on State Trust Land
-only allowed on existing roads or trails( you do still require a recreation permit)
No target shooting is allowed on State Trust Land
No visiting of archaeological sites
Prospecting, treasure hunting and rock hounding require a lease agreement*
Private Land – Do and Don’t

You must get permission from the landowner.
Public use of private property is a privilege, not a right.
It’s illegal to trespass on private property without permission.
If you’re granted permission, you should get written proof so you have legal protection if the landowner reports you

Some areas do have fees to maintain the particular site.
Camping is allowed on public lands for no more than a period of 14 days within any period of 28 consecutive days.
Off-highway vehicles are permitted, on roads and trails only
Do not touch petroglyphs or remove artifacts.
Collecting of mineral and fossil resources is prohibited in certain areas*
There are permits that need to be secured for special events or activities*
