Loading Events

We will hike 2 miles along the Pipeline Canyon Trail and stop periodically to take pictures of the plants, animals and landscapes found in the Sonoran Desert. The trail is rated as moderate with gradual elevation gain in sometimes rocky trail. We will be starting early in the morning, but it is encouraged that you bring sunscreen, protective clothing including close toed shoes and plenty of water.

MEETING LOCATION: Cottonwood Day Use Area / North Pipeline Trailhead, NORTH ENTRANCE of Lake Pleasant Regional Park.

Limit of 15 participants. To register, please email Ranger Derik at Derik.Rodgers@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 6/8/23.
