Join Ranger Nikki on a 2.5-mile Earth Day stroll to explore our fascinating Sonoran Desert. Identify various plants and animals and learn how they survive in our extreme environment. The route includes Merkle Trail and portions of Blevins and Crismon Wash Trails. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, a hat and sunscreen. MEETING LOCATION: Area 6 on the north side of Merkle Trail.
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Usery Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
