We have outgrown the ‘One-Man-Band’!
Be Outdoors Arizona is ready for a Board of Directors! We have made an impact with our volunteers, partners and supporters but now it’s time to step up our game and bring more to the residents and visitors of Arizona. Some of the goals that have been imagined include growing our intern program, adding more educational content, attending more events, creating school programs and building a membership program.
This is your opportunity to be a founding member of an organization that will positively affect the lives of our youth and increase awareness and involvment of stewardship of our open spaces and outdoor recreation! Please read through our draft descriptions of positions. There are PDF copies for you to download. There is also a link to fill out an application. Please share this opportunity with anyone you know who shares a passion for our mission.
The board will participate in a SWOT analysis and board development facilitated by Table Building. Estimated time commitment the first year of formation of the board may be monthly 2 hour meetings until policies, procedures and duties are finalized. Board meetings will then be held every other month or quarterly as determined by the BOD.
