This is the second in a series of work events to improve the upper sections of Butterfly Trail so we can access the harder-to-reach sections during future events. We will be working on the trail from the parking lot down towards Butterfly Peak. Work will include aggressive brushing, intensive tread work, and some minor rock work.
Bring water and snackage. Lunch will be provided. Long sleeved shirts, long pants, and closed toed shoes are strongly recommended. We have gloves for your use, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
We will meet at Le Buzz Cafe parking lot (9121 E. Tanque Verde Rd.) at 7:30am to carpool up to the trailhead. We will wrap up by 2:30pm so that we can be back at the parking lot by 4. Two more events have been scheduled on the Butterfly Trail!
COVID Note: The ATA asks that volunteers to refrain from participation in any AZT activity if they have symptoms of or believe they may have been recently exposed to COVID-19. Please monitor your own health regularly and let us know if any thing changes prior to or immediately after the event.
