Learn about birds of Sonoran Desert riparian areas and look for spring migrants during this guided walk with Ranger Eric along Morgan City Wash near the confluence with the Agua Fria River. We will meet at the trailhead off CSR Beardsley Rd., which is about 2 miles east of Castle Hot Springs Rd. on the north side of Hwy. 74 at mile marker 22. Registration is required and space is limited. Please bring cash, as there is a $2 fee for hikers entering the park here, unless you have a Maricopa County Parks annual pass (self-pay station at trailhead). Light to moderate hiking along the Beardsley Trail. Please bring your own binoculars, water, and wear sturdy footwear. To register, please email Ranger Eric: eric.hough@maricopa.gov
