In-Person Workshop: Exploring Your Backyard Birds Through Drawing | Host: Local Tucson Artist, Trenton Jung
Registration fee: $35/member, $50/non-member | Register Here
Students will explore their favorite backyard birds through the fundamentals of drawing. We will apply these drawing skills to accurately capture our bird’s form and behavior. Students will also connect their birding knowledge to their drawings to inform anatomy, feather tracts, and other important identification landmarks. The drawing skills that we are practicing in class will help you observe your feathered subjects carefully and capture the details for later reference. Bird photos for reference will be providing; students are asked to bring their own basic art supplies (a list will be provided to registrants prior to the event). Limited to 8 participants.
Location: Tucson Audubon’s Mason Center (3835 W. Hardy Rd.)
