The initiative to harvest native seeds is a proactive step towards ecological restoration. These native seeds are selected for their resilience and ability to thrive in the local environment. \nTo learn more about the Parks Desert Defender Program\, visit https://www.maricopacountyparks.net/about-us/desertdefenders/. \nPlease bring work gloves\, water\, and a snack. Wear a long-sleeved shirt\, pants\, and closed-toed shoes. \nParticipants must be 13 years or older to participate in these events\, if you are 13-17 you will need to be accompanied by an adult\, or waiver and transportation provided by an adult. \nNote: If less than three people register for each event\, we reserve the right to cancel at least one day before. If canceled\, email notifications will go to the registrants
