Youth will enjoy a short\, engaging science presentation by Alex La Pierre (Borderlandia)\, followed by a creative art activity—play clay printmaking with local artist Aubrey Behrens. SUMMARY:Restoration at the PVCC Arizona Restoration Center
DESCRIPTION:Help out with community nature restoration and gardening at the ARC at Paradise Valley Community College! We will be removing invasive plants\, planting native plants and seeds\, improving paths\, creating habitat\, and more! Our tasks and their difficulty are highly flexible\, and we will teach you how to do everything! We will provide water refills\, snacks\, shade\, tools\, bags for disposal\, and a few chairs. Our supplies are limited of these\, so you are encouraged to bring your own\, especially tools and gloves\, if you’d like to ensure you have them. You are also encouraged to wear sunscreen and closed-toed shoes.
