Participants should expect to walk between 1-2 miles total.\nBinoculars and field guides are available to borrow.\nPlease meet inside the Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center at least 5–10 minutes prior to the 8 a.m. departure time.\nRestroom facilities will be available for use at the center.\nThis event is FREE\, although donations to support educational programs are always appreciated. DESCRIPTION:Red Rock State Park offers a 1½–2-hour guided hike exploring the ancient Sinagua culture (1100–1425 AD) and other Native American groups who once lived and traveled in the area. Participants will see archaeological features along easy to moderate trails (about 250 ft elevation gain) and may begin with a short presentation on the region’s pre-Columbian history. \n\n\n\n\nNote\n\nHike is included with park entrance fees. \n\n$10.00 ages 14 and up\n$5.00 ages 7 – 13\nFree for ages 6 and under\n\nAlso note: \n\n\n\nRESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED: please call (928) 282-6907. Call the park starting the first day of the month of the event to reserve your spot.

These walks are for everyone: experts\, novices\, and people who have never gone birding in their entire life. \n\nBring water\, and wear sunscreen and shoes for walking.\nGroups usually travel slowly\, over varying terrain including cement sidewalks\, gravel paths\, and dirt trails. Participants should expect to walk between 1-2 miles total.\nBinoculars and field guides are available to borrow.\nPlease meet inside the Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center at least 5–10 minutes prior to the 8 a.m. departure time.\nRestroom facilities will be available for use at the center.\nThis event is FREE\, although donations to support educational programs are always appreciated.
