A combination of plant communities and habitats surrounding the world’s largest travertine bridge supports a wide variety of bird species that call the park home and we will be searching for. Meets between the Waterfall Parking and Waterfall Trailhead. But act immediately\, because this event requires registration and space is limited. \n  \nThe ASU Ornithology Collection contains approximately 2\,000 specimens representing more than 300 species\, with a geographic concentration in the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico\, plus some Neotropical representation. \n  \nEmail Carlota Thorne if you are interested in attending at carlotathorne13@ gmail.com. When you register you will get an email from Carlota with the address of where to meet at 7:45 am. Tour begins at 8 am. with Dr. Jay Taylor\, curator of the collection.

The walk starts at 6:45 a.m. and continues for three miles on a trip that lasts from 2 to 3 hours.
